It was a pleasure supporting Lawhill Maritime Center’s job shadowing initiative and we thoroughly enjoyed hosting representatives of the future generation in the maritime and shipping industry in South Africa.

SGM are able to provide a comprehensive insight into the industry and we welcomed the Grade 11 students for their 2-day Job Shadowing to help them gain more knowledge about this fascinating industry the and what an career here would and could entail. The students were introduced to various operational aspects of our industry, including; ship agency services, our engineering division, the fire and safety at sea team and also the business administration and marketing side.
